The Sonnax Technical Automotive Specialties Committee (TASC) Force held a meeting in Omaha, Neb. for a discussion on emerging market needs and ideas for new parts among other subjects.

Forty professionals representing 15 companies from the U.S. and Canada attended the meeting.

Sonnax President Steve boyer welcomed the group, commenting on the investments Marmon had made in the year since acquiring the company. “We want to make sure Sonnax has the appropriate people in place to design, produce and deliver what you need, when you need it. We are also investing in our warehouse this year so we can get parts out even faster,” Boyer said.

New product ideas were discussed and the gathering included a tour of Certified Transmission’s headquarters. More than 75 product ideas were submitted to be voted on.

“The depth of knowledge of this group, and their enthusiasm for helping us develop fixes for problems is truly inspiring,” said Maura Stafford, Sonnax Transmission Specialties Product Line Manager.
